I also think allies ruin the game, when its done in a fake and unfair way.

specially when it happens in the first 2 or 3 turns it really bothers me.. thats why usually i make my own games, and put in the title "NO allies/quitters"

does it work? sometimes.. not always, but i hope it works better than a regular "songoks game"

(oh yeah, quitting also ruins the game, specially when the quitter has a bunch of territories

BUT i'm ok with "alliances" that just happen, you know, attacking territories in a way that leaves a border territory (in a choke for instance) and then not attacking each other for a while.

the 2 things here are:

-for a while, meaning no teaming until everyone is gone.. just until its time to "backstab"

-just by playing.. no need to use the chat and make and "artificial" alliance.

my sugestion? allow games to be created without a chat. even if i do chat a lot and think its fun ;)

Its annoying playing this team-up noobs. Worst part is it is mostly level 20 and highers who do it. Like Franz1975 and MBZG (levels 23-25). I guess there's nothing you can do about it, but it feels like you've been robbed of a victory that was yours.

Ok, just a view from the dark side...
Let’s say, 6 of us started a game, and it’s suddenly down to 3. There is You, the very-very good player (A) with 22 territories, there is avarage joe me, (B), with 12, and there is a third guy, whom I was attacking earlier, (C) with 10.

It’s my turn, what are my choices?
1. Attack C, OR attack both. I will be the second strongest, but still weaker, than A, so will have 2 enemies and loose.
2. Attack A, stack up a couple of sheilded 8 in his face, and give up my backside to C.

2a. C attacks me. After his backstab, i will only attack him, won’t even defend against A. Prolly, I get second, but the backstabber sure doesn’t win...
2b. C sees my point, we gang up on A, and if we are smart and lucky, we might win. If we are looking at shards and XP, this is far the best option for both of us... If we both think logically, we simply must do this, i think, even if it’s upsetting for A.

So „divide et impera” you top players, and don’t get into this situation - if I can offer my humble advice...

Exactly, this is how quite a number of my games end. Usually ends up in A surrendering(rage quit), C 2nd and B(me) winning (If I were stronger than C initially).
Victory is not robbed, just most players expand as much as they can when they can (that's usually their doom against allies)

I think here should just be an ally mode and an FFA mode, that way the lone wolfs can finally be happy and not get ganged up on. :geek:

Jokern wrote:Well i just saw the lowest thing ever level 17 player and level 8 teamed on a Guest i was fking mad at them so i will say their names.

Hearthacker and Raphael357 are their names. They are teaming out a Guest.

And the fun thing i think the guest will win. And the guest was half as big like them are together.

Jokern,

I too have seen Hearthacker playing with a guest as teams. It appeared he was playing two accounts because him and the guest didn't attack each other. It was two games so I was pretty sure what was going on.

I hate players like that.

I don't think there really is a solution, so it was pretty cool to say something;p
^if i sound rude, not at all my intention
and a similar situation happened yesterday, except it was two level 32's teaming up immediately to "ensure 'yellow' didn't gain to much" (i wasn't yellow, don't even remember if it was yellow, just an example of what happened) so i'm equally annoyed. Level caps take care of part of it, but when even the higher levels are teaming, it'll drive people off..
