(I can get more material if highlander has a good argument.)

You could always manually lower it... ;)

One at a time. Not exactly the best way to spend an afternoon.

That's just for starters my dear Lopdo, I might increase it after I see how much participation I get from the community.

Firstly i didnt know this was an issue until i googled and found out about the mayor of New York.

Response:The health issue's covering the large sugary drinks are overwhelmingly staggering figures that obesity is up 25%.If a parent can't educate their child to drink less sugar, then it's up to state legisature to teach the adults as well as the child.Sugary acids also cause dental problems , especially on younger children who's teeth are still developing after losing there deciduous teeth (aka: Primary Teeth). It has also been proven that a child lose's there deciduous teeth quicker through there consumption of these large sugary drinks.

Other health issue's include a rise in pregnant mother's giving birth to more dieabetic children.New studies also tell of kidney infections and kidney stones all due to large sugary drinks consummed.Excessive drinking of large sugary drinks lead to Heart troubles,Hypokalemia,Bone density, and some cheaper brands carry harmful pesticides.

True people can buy smaller sugary drinks but the case is once you have that extra large cup you've paid for it so your need to drink instead of waste money kicks in.Whereas if you'd bought a smaller cup your mind wouldn't say drink its a waste, there are under-lined thinking between need and greed. If your thirst continues then buy another small cup but having a large sugary drink is some-times wasteful and unnecessary.

The main point here is to train your mind, diet and will-power to thinking when is refreshing become greed.

Interesting.

Before voting it is important to note that each of the debaters does not get to pick their position. They could just as easily have been assigned to argue the exact opposite. With that in mind, I had to look at the substance and persuasiveness of what they did with "the hand that was dealt to them". I think that Highlander was better able to support and persuade toward his position.

I say interesting, because I don't agree with that view at all...but given his starting point I think that he did the better job of articulating/persuading so he gets my vote on this round.
In Vortex Wars: 50% of the game is luck. 50% is skill. The other 50% is math.
