If you want to do something, you've got to commit.
I always read read as read first before I read read as read instead.

Sure - we say "gob stopping amount of time" several times a day. It is expected in most social settings. I think it really took off after the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory came out in 1971 and the expression has stuck with us ever since :roll:
