The Vortex Tribune (Issue #1)
HEADLINE STORY
Fang Creates A Newspaper:
The well-known Fangfallen has created a newspaper to compete with the Vortex News by highlander, thought to be long dead. Is it a wise choice? I think so. Many wanted highlander to revive his news reports, but somehow I think we won't get the same unbiased, pure reporting that we got from highlander's crew. (Continued on bottom)
BREAKING NEWS!
Drama Over, Or Is It?
The drama revolving around Warrior's Creed and their former leader, Vortex_Master, seems to finally be dying down, as another former leader, Ratburntro44, has taken back command after winning an election by a astonishing lead. WC seems to be in a state of peace now, but Calleharnemark keeps bringing up her opinions on WC in her own Today's Poem thread. Meanwhile, some drama concerning the Wolfpack has arisen yet again. Leader Autumnwolf17 has been arguing with members of the Knights of the Roundtable Clan, especially highlander, for some time. Quarrels have continued, with Sundancer (AKA L0llero, a former player of Vortex Wars) taking part in some accusations, however the drama does seem to be dying down overall. Will we see more drama to come, or is it finally over?
UPDATE
Noob, Spy, or Disguise?
A new member of Warrior's Creed, Cirno, seems to be a suspicious character. She has intrigued the Warriors as being too knowledgable, and most likely a more well-known player in disguise. Meanwhile, the members of the Wolfpack seemed interested as Cirno is an anime fan, and a player of Touhou, a shoot-em-up game only known to a few of us here at the Tribune. It seems that she has no connection to the Wolfpack. A talk with Necrocat219 and shows that they are curious to get to know this Cirno character.
UPDATE
Tournaments and Wars
The Vor-Tourney has started again, with both the Player Edition and Clan Edition kicking into action, under the supervision of creator, Fangfallen, these tournaments should go smoothly, though last time there was a little bit of lag in their initial start. Furthermore, wars a starting up again, with the Knights of the Roundtable challenging every clan to friendly matches, the Wolfpack in a friendly competition with rival clan Warrior's Creed, and the Order of Secrets is trying to do some matches with the Vortex Guardians. A newer tournament called World Domination is also very popular at the moment and is very Warrior and Wolf dominated. Will we see these battles pick up, or will they lose favour, and die? I believe these battles have a long life ahead of them.
NEW FLASH
Capture The Flag, BACK!
The once popular game, Capture the Flag, is back in the forum games. It is the third installation of the game, and funny as ever. There are butterfly nets, voided posts, cookie eating, and fun all around. It is one of the few times that Ratburntro44 isn't serious, though he can be really annoying when posting after you. All the same, it is good fun, and everyone is welcome to join.
