Opinions on who could be a good unifying clan leader.

Unfortunately, we cannot unify the clans and make a clan in a new game. The reason is simply personal feelings between clan leaders and clan members. A much better idea would be to transfer the COUNCIL (VW Council not WC council) to the new game.

All clans could put in their topic that they are a member of the Vortex Council, and we as a community could make decisions on... Well... What exactly?

We'd transfer the Council to the new game, put it in some sort of general discussion. We'd explain who we are and where we came from. Each clan can make a thread for their own clan (If the forum had a place for it.)

The Council would serve as a clan of clans.

A giant clan with clans as members, a clan jointly ruled by the leaders of each individual clan.

It is perfect, no room for argument as we already are doing this here.

Yeah, I like it, that is why I loved it when it was created, but we wouldn't be able to do very much decision-wise on the new game. Think about it. We talk about what clans are official and... Well not much else. But I would love to have it anyway, just to unite us.

MONGOOSE:

A good player in game, who is friendly and can take a joke. He owned/owns (I'm not sure which) his own clan, but let it fall at one point. He is a good guy who hardly ever criticizes others. I think he would make a good leader. I consider Mongoose a friend, so my answer may be biased.

P.S. He never gets mad when I kick his butt in a game
