I wish to say my goodbye to the Knights. My last day with KOTR is September 1.
I have been honored to have had the opportunity to at first found the Knights, become the Clan Leader, be a part of the transition to what it is today and leave you knowing that you are in good hands.
I see from the front page that you have made a wise choice in filling the 12th seat. I see great things ahead for this clan.
As I leave you now I would like to say a few words to two players:
Karen - You are the right person to lead this clan. The Knights have a strong leader who has their interests at heart, is wise, a great player, and with the best ethics. You are a rare person and player and I leave knowing that the right person is at the helm.
Highlander: You are often misunderstood and under appreciated. That is not the case for me. I know you very well and I do know that while some can't handle a good dose of the truth - you always "give it to them straight" - sometimes to excess but never with the intent that some have accused you of. You are a top player - both in the game and on the forum. I met you first in the game - later we were Riders together and I am glad that you agreed to become the first to join me in the Knights. I very much needed you in the clan from the beginning and you saved this clan when the multi-clan rule almost destroyed it. 8 of the 12 Knights plus several Squires all came because of you. I thank you for being you and for keeping the Knights in the fight. You are the best.
Best wishes to everyone who either has been or still is a Knight.
