the end will happon when we let it happon,
and a new game will lose a lot of members of this game depending on what type of game it is, and even if people join the next game there skill sets will be different but ya, this game will be goinging down from now on
-Damon, sure as hell doesn't look like it

You too lucky

I must say to all the scepticism and doubters , this game will only fold if or when Lopdo think its too cost-worthy to keep maintaining.Until then the game will survive , all games have ups and downs in there life span. The game has more of an older player group, maybe not active on forum but active in game.
The last poll suggested that the average age is about 28.The older players tend not to stray from good games .

No doubt my opinion will be shot down as usual by the in-crowd , just remember my opinion didn't shoot yours.

You have a good point, that has not been made before. Usually older players tend to stay longer.

People play games for a long time. but most people end up moving on at some point in time. sometimes they come back, sometimes they don't.

Also not all games last forever either. and some that do keep on going , aren't always the same, at least when it comes to the community and such. and sometimes it changes as well as the game itself, enough that you don't want to stay around anymore.

I got hooked on VW, I play other games all the time, but what keeps me coming back from mini hiatus's and such is the game and the people, sure I don't like ALL the people, and I think there could be tons of different changes to the game. but everything is still enough to keep me around. It isn't a game that ends, and it isn't a game that demands me to play more or fall behind.

Of course, I will be gone by then, so just give me a call.

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum fyi.

I have played the game for some time achieving level 21 then stopped because i got furious at people allying and cheating.

I came back to VW a few days ago because I missed it and I had more free time to play.

Just wanted to say congrats to Lopdo. I think the game is very enjoyable and simple enough to be a great distraction. It has all to become a classic in my opinion. I don't really see it end in the near future because the creator said it didn't cost much to be up and running. On the other hand, I'm guessing it is simple enough to contact a few friends if you want to have a game and do not find available people in the lobby.

I am guessing there is a good fan base and this forum is a proof of that. Hoping experienced players and clan members will add some new simple features like new maps or game type (as tournaments or multiple rounds game). I will spend more time here and try to help.

Long live Vortex Wars !

If we add Clans into the game, even as little tags beside the name, I think it would add several months until the death of the game.

Also, welcome to the forums Kint, I was just thinking about asking you to come on a few days ago. :)
