The poll is slightly biased. When you make a poll, you can't write: would you like to buy Toyota? or the awesome, super cool looking Volkswagen. Chances are, someone that doesn't know what you're talking about, will pick Volkswagen. You didn't do exactly that, but you wrote yes twice, and once no. The choices should have been: Yes, No, or: "Yes, No, On condition." Omit the second "yes" word.
I voted no. I bought the upgrades with my money because people did not have a choice in playing with me (Unfair? I don't care.), whether they bought the upgrades or not. The option to enable disable upgrades made it so that my purchase was potentially useless, since anyone without upgrades can disable them. If Lopdo wanted to put enable/disable, he should have done it before offering any upgrades for real money. Offering a product, then changing the conditions of that product prior to purchase is quite disgusting. I'm happy this upgrade was put up.
That it might alienate a portion of his client base is probably untrue. Probability is a new concept to humanity, so one can't exactly tell what will happen when changing the circumstances. First of all the boosts are not that big of a change. On a game with 250 territories, a player using attack boost may win 8v8 and keep a 1 there. It's frankly not that big a deal. On another note: not many people actually use boost, and new players don't really understand how to use them. Plus, players are given 10 starting boosts, so they don't feel left out at the beginning, they can fully use boosts for 3 matches, and again, let's be real, who uses 6 boosts per game?
