The annoying know it all, trying to make everyone think alike
to himself. Trying to help everyone, without success.
Think that's missing a few words- perhaps you could add "conceited", "arrogant", "bigheaded", "cocky", "immodest", "narcissistic", "self-important", "presumptuous", "pretentious", and "vainglorious".

I mean... I know it was supposed to be a semicolon and stuff between the two independent clauses, but I'll just go to punctuation jail instead of editing it and fixing it...or putting the period at the end.
