If for some reason Knights had lost I don't think anyone would be calling foul.

Granted that's probably true, but hardly changes whether the matches should count- if you report a bank robber only because he didn't share the money with you, he's still going to jail.

That wasn't my point- I believe you misread my analogy.

At any rate - I don't want a victory that looks suspect to anyone.

I will repeat though that if the Knights had lost - no one would be saying anything about the fairness of it.

I will offer this. Since due to WC own members "being confused" about who had the right to show up and represent their clan - I would like to propose that BOTH of the fights (The original "first to win 3" matches and the VTI Clan Edition matches) start from zero and our Black Knights Team Captain is Highlander. He will come to terms with you - and fight ONE series of fights that will count both here in the VTI Clan Edition and also in our "first to win 3" challenge. I accept that in order to come to terms that will count for both - we may have to modify the "first to win 3" setup. ONE series - counts here and there. Is WC okay with that? If so - we do now have to wait for Highlander since he will lead the Black Knights. (And I am really not sure how long he is out for at the moment).

I am okay with that.

The main reason I'm annoyed at this is because it isn't the first time this has happened with WC- Kalendan did the same thing in our war with MS, and I tried to get it to stop then. Clearly that didn't work.

Just read through all this.
It would be a win by default it's hear form one clan but not another. Please realize I have to advance SOMEONE.
As for the dilemma of the creed members making illegal matches. I'd like the two clans to figure it out between themselves. If it comes den to being my decision I say the ones that had a member high enough to lead in it count.

Morally, the knights have the right to claim the wins. I stand by this if that's what the choose.

Okay so here is where I think we stand.

Either before or after the WC ruling went out a council member had to be present (or at least authorize). Chess was there for the first two which were won by KOTR. At a minimum Knights are ahead 2-0 in the "first to win 5" VTI matches. I am willing to let the other Knights victories go so WC cannot claim it was due to their non-council members not being authorized to continue playing.

So let's try to pick up with Ryankill leading the VTI Knights team for this matchup. We are at 2-0 right now.

For the record, we did have another official game yesterday with Vortex_Master there, and KOTR won (was Me+Chris vs VM+Joshua). It should be at 3-0 now.
