Shard Farming

Start a two player game using Full Map with Hardcore settings. Use my new map with 228 pieces.

If you go first... just attack everything you can, then surrender... or if you think you have a great chance afterwards, play it out more. If not, just playing that one round as red, then bailing out, gives a ton of XP for nothing. Often, this setting, the blue player will bail out as they think red is now won the game 3/4 into the turn. I have been watching this go on all morning with my map. I think the surrender option needs to be far more killer (in accordance to map size) within X turns. Perhaps not just a -30 XP, but a complete loss of all XP earned in the game plus -30.

The one game I played with the host I saw doing this a lot, he went first, thought he would win. My turn came, I took control of the map, and he bailed right after taking his full second turn. After one turn only for me and the win (due to his surrender), I had 300+XP, and I am sure he got a boat load too (maybe more because he has two turns to my one). He just started a new game with the same settings.

From my understanding, this is how Asiok got to leaderboards as well (not necessarily with my map, but with previous larger maps with 2 players).

BTW, leaderboards is not showing 10th position in Rank on first load either.

Yeah, I played your map this morning with 8 players and got 508 xp after winning in 3 turns, everyone else ragequitting. It only got me about 75 shards though.
