Friend system ideas

Lot of people requested some form of friend system. I am not sure if and when I will do it, but I would like to start gathering ideas about it as I am not sure what exactly is it supposed to achieve.

So... what features should friend system have? How would you like to use it? Whatever pops into your mind about it, please share it here

The ability to know what game your friend is in or if he is online of course, um to join a game they have created, inviting to a private or public game.... basically things that would make it easy to play in the same game as them if wanted.

I think Ratburn's version is great, although later some more options with friends would be nice to have. It would do the trick and be a fun add-on.

Thanks. And obviously the "View" part couldn't be added until spectator exist. Then again, maybe the buttons should go underneath so games with long names can still have buttons there...

I really love how the default font in seashore happens to be (or at least be very similar to) the font on the buttons in vortex wars
