I think Ryan is implying that it's photoshopped.

No, did you not read the.....
When you lose your internet the game has no way in knowing if you are there or left the game. So it leaves you in the game and when you rejoin in the menu, you can enter (play game bottom) the game and join the game as a player again and so on.
