Pumpkins, Vampires, Insectoids

So, I just saved up enough for insectoids but now these two new races have come out ! Would anyone suggest one of these instead of insectoids ?

Okay so I've done my own review of pumpkins and vampires.
Vampires: The 5% attack and defence bonus is nice but the 15% spawn loss is too detrimental for the bonuses to be worth it imo
Pumpkins: The 15% spawn bonus is only 5% higher than insects and definitely not worth the loss to both attack and defence

:D comments and opinions welcomed

For pumpkins, I would suggest making it 20%. And for vampires, I would suggest making it only -10%.
This too shall pass.

I don't think they should be buffed. Both of them have situations that are very favorable for them. Vampires are the ultimate stalemate breakers for small maps. Pumpkins are great on large maps, and with a player who's style is to put 5s and 6s everywhere (the -5% only has an effect if you roll 20 or more). True that they aren't as good overall as angels, demons, and insects, but their utility makes up for it imo.

Having a look at the pros and cons of each race, I still think Insectoids are the best.

Insectoids are still the best stats wise.

That being said, I don't see why they had to give the Vamps and pumpkins Negative stats in the first place though.

Just make them cost the same as the insectoids or a bit more and take the negatives out.

In Fictional common sense vampires are strong and populate quickly, so the negative population on them is weird in the first place

I agree with alucard, since the vampire and pumpkin races are rare. why give them negative stats?
they should be overpowered since they can hopefully never ever be buyed again.
just my opinion.

but it is true that vampires are strong and populate quickly, so they should make them only a bit weaker against a specifik race.
that makes the strategy in the game harder

Am I dreaming ?

Bonus should (must...) stay secondary, or it's a money-based game... Guys, just give me your money and I'll make you a game where you can win every time because of it... And let's us play some strategic games out here...

Pumpkins are too weak 10 point spread vs power races , sure way to lose
