The only time I played vs him (he was already above 5000, some days ago), something VERY strange occured. I just want to share that (I had a screen copy but deleted it yesterday, sorry).
We were 3 players on a big map (hexagonal one, conquer mode), and initially game was balanced. Progressively I took advantage, 3rd player was already promised to die first. At some turn it really became obvious that bigbutter would not make it against me, I had been very lucky on several attacks. On his next turn, he did not move any troop, and while his playing time was slowly counting down, the following message popped up in chat:
"bigbutter: was kicked for being idle" or something like that (the standard message). I found it very strange because:
- He had played normally all turns before (usually this only comes after 3 turns of inactivity)
- The turn time was still counting
- And of course the player was actually not kicked !
Instead the game remained locked on his turn.
I had some chat with 3rd player, who surrendered after some time, then I went to do some other stuff (work - sometimes you really have to). When I came back around 1.5 hours later, game was still locked on his turn. I surrendered and looked for bigbutter in social screen : He was mentionned to be offline, last seen 0 hours ago...
In case the same happened to others with bigbutter, this could mean he found a way to hang the game server when losing. Otherwise it is just an irrelevant, random server lock on this specific game...
