Love Sucks (Or at least is confusing)

I've tried so much already. Even wrote a poem. She unfriended me on facebook. :/
She told me to leave her alone and all I could say was "As you wish."

(If you've seen the Princess Bride, you'd understand.)

You did not take my advice then . The harder you "try", the worse it will get. You appear weak and desperate... who wants that. Women want strong, independent men, despite what they may think or express that they want. Your soft, puppy dog love approach will get you kicked more often than not.

Edit: let me put it to you this way... which was told to me by a woman I dated many years ago who was a relationship therapist.
Women are like the Ocean... they are unpredictable, have high and low tides, and can change from rough seas to calm and back again quickly. This refers to her emotions.
Women look for a Sun... predicable and consistent... will always and predictably rise and set... will gently pull the Ocean through high and low tides. This refers to your emotions... be consistent, warm, and strong. If you let the woman dictate your emotional base by her actions or emotions, you've lost what women need. IE: don't be an emotional roller-coaster.

Thank you tech-gump. I never gave her the poem, I threw it away. I only ever tried to get her to talk. Today is the first time she's talked to me since then... She even asked to borrow my jacket. (Being a gentleman, I gave it to her.) I thank you for the advice. She still seems different, though. Only time shall heal these wounds which have been created, I guess. She apologized for acting the way she did. (Being the person I am, I told her it was ok and that I was glad to see her.)

As the cycle goes. (Not necissarily a constant cycle.)
Friends → Lovers

Things are going better, but they still are not back to "normal" per say. I will update you more if the need arises.
