Golden Age

Chapter 1: Year 2122

This is the year of 2122. Mankind has evolved into a new age. The Eco Age. This would also be called the Golden Age. Earth would be a perfect world. There was no sickness, no poverty, and there is barely even death. Along with small death counts, there is inventions to help the future of mankind. There is flying cars and spaceships that take you to the moon, teleporters that send you across the world in a second, robots were taught to serve mankind without rebellion immense, and cities that hovered over the ground. Everyone thought that was all that they could do. They were wrong.

There was an amateur inventor by the name of Zack who normally built small robots and useful inventions out of scrap from the surface world. A robot that washed dishes, an invention that could reach into the treetops, and he even turned a toaster into a heater. Then one day he put away all his other project ideas to create something that would change the Earth forever.

Chapter 2: Golden Age Goes Platinum

Zack had the idea of a time machine. He constantly threw the idea away because he didn't have the right materials. Although the materials were scarce, Zack knew that it would work. What he needed was a teleporter, a clock, and a 20,000 amp generator. Even a city wouldn't have 20,000 amps. He kept making variations to his idea, but they would not come out the same. One variation blueprint has multiple generators which could send you back in time. But you would back dead. Another prototype sent one of china back to China, but he could not retrieve the plate. All seemed hopeless for time travel. Alas, one foggy morning he was doing his daily search for spare scrap, when he stumbled on a rusty generator.

With hope rushing through his mind he dusted off the label which said HANDYMAN 25,000 AMP GENERATOR. He was curious and suspicious."Does this still have power" Zack thought. He took the generator back to his home where he tested the generator. "20,012.324 AMPS" the voltmeter said. Zack yelled in enjoyment. He could get started on the time machine. He took the clock off the wall, and he unbolted the teleporter. He attached all three items and started rewiring. Once he finished he tested it himself, he entered the chamber and hit go. There was an uproar and he opened his eyes to see a natural neighborhood. He looked at a calender to see that it was 2010. He was astonished but he knew he couldn't create a paradox. Once he returned to his time, he told everyone about his invention. Then he was given the Nobel Peace Prize. Zack had created the Time Travel Age.
