The old semi-slav defence...
An interesting problem for black in the semi-slav is to maintain equality on the chess board. Notice how the pawn on C6 limits blacks moves with the Queen side Knight, whilst white can play his Knight to C3. Of course 'book' says black has an equal chance of reaching equality here.
Open to forum for next move.

Black transposes in the Queens Gambit Accepted. Black is up a pawn but loses a turn in development.
Can Black keep the pawn on C4? Does Black want to keep the pawn on C4?
Can Black match Whites future moves in piece development?
Can White turn the loss of a pawn into a positional advantage?
