Eh, the worst that could happen is a system-wide reset of the ranking numbers, which wouldn't be too bad considering how many have been complaining about themselves loosing it or others gaining it unfairly.

Yeah... I still hope they roll it back though. Either way, I hope they do reset all of us, otherwise its hardly fair. Not sure if I could live with negative rating forever. It just looks terrible.
