I believe he already has those incorporated, but they are seen for a far too short a time to be read properly.

Just make it so loading screens will last for at least couple seconds, and problem solved

I think it may annoy some people who just want to jump into the action as quick as possible, especially if it is done artificially to lengthen the loading time.

Then again, this isn't a game about quick gameplay, so, who knows... :roll:

Has anyone mentioned blockading? Like if there's a dead end that leads nowhere and can only be accessed through a single tile, and you take that tile as your first territory and your opponent sets up shop in the dead end, he will run out of space to expand. Even better, if the dead end is a straight line, only 1 tile thick, you can cut into your opponent's territory and he has to sit there passively and he can't expand at all, allowing you to quickly kill him.

Eg.
[ ][ ][ ]
[ ][o][o][x]
[ ][ ][ ]
[ ] is empty tile
[o] is your tile
[x] is your opponent's tile

um... I think that is just a choke point and also requires a partner to prevent you being attacked in different locations.

Choke point it may be, but if its early game nobody would dare to attack you especially on XXL maps where they can't even reach you. And the guy can't expand to get reinforcements so.

I've played 52 games and have killed about 7 opponents in the first 5 rounds with this tactic. I have never been attacked from behind while pulling it off, and anyway it usually takes like 1-2 turns to kill the guy, because he can't expand so he has like 1 reinforcements.

Helltank your method of blockading has another name its called Trolling and we all know that tactic , only newbies and noobs do it.
