Replay option

Postby Vrighty » Wed Aug 22, 2012 7:53 pm

Sometimes i have see AWESOME fights, (and i dont mean the games I win). I would like to review them and see what happend, were people made mistakes, how people expand there area, how people use there armies, when they switch target to balansh enemies, which lands they attack first, which priorities they got, HOW THEY MANAGE TO WIN WHEN THEY R IN MIDDLE!! or how they win when they only got 3 lands... and i had 20... lol -,x

just a review... on armorgames -> Shattered collony they have something like it. after you finished the game you can see how you placed ur turrets and distribution building ect ect. just a tiny film about what happend. (a share option would be nice either)

Please tell me how you people think about this.

I think it's actually quite a good idea. People could stay in the game afterwards and give advice to each other about what they did wrong or what they did right. Also, a 'recommend review' or 'join review' button should be available. Although, it may be hard for Lopdo to program this, since the game would have to record all the graphics etc..

EDIT: Lol, 3 consecutive posts in 3 consecutive minutes.
Xerxes:Let us reason. It would be a waste. It would be madness for you and your troops to perish because of a misunderstanding. There is much our cultures could share.
Leonidas:Haven't you noticed? We've been sharing our culture with you all morning.

It is actually easier than you might think. I plan to do this for a long time. Problem is not with coding but with storage, but I believe I figured that out as well

Why would it be imperative to record the graphics? Surely it could just store the map, races, and moves and generate it on the fly as it does while actually playing?

Good thing people like it. but dont make anything so people can be annoying to each other with telling: You shouldnt have attacked him, but Attacked him and blablablabla The only thing i do is saying people should use boosts xD

it can also be helpfull to make a tactic guide on youtube/this forum or something

btw, its a good idea to make a speed button on it aswell. But if you make it X10 nobody can see the armies... so a little suggestion about it: Instead of numbers, make the collors darker when they have an higher army on it. So for red it will be : 1 army=pink, 2 armies=darker pink ect ect 5=red 6=dark red 7=bleed red 8=black/dark red. so instead of numbers you will only see collors.
