I'm pretty sure that it just means that it is still constantly being updated, so he left beta in the name.

beta is not about updates, it is about lot of bugs that were there at the beginning we will be out of beta when next update with new UI and LOT of changes comes up (or one after that if it is buggy ). It will not be beta, but I will be still updating it and adding new content etc
