I am assuming this was all because of lag, but I thought I would share it anyways. I believe at first it was doing things like not letting you finish your turn, but then it progressed. It actually started not finishing placing your units. This REALLY bugged me. Then it even started making people's turns go by so fast that it only flashed that it was the person's turn. I believe that there were more problems, but I am sort of raged right now because of the battle.
The battle was swirl, HC, Manual, 8 player game

a hear that a few people are having these problems, but none of them all at that same time!
