There is nothing that would put anyone in the advantage except for the race bonuses, doesn't matter if you are guest, low/high rank or premium user. Everybody have same chance. From what I can tell, it is either confirmation bias or some statistical anomaly, probably some combination of both. I am using standard C# random generator.

On the related note, I read article about randomness couple weeks ago and scientist found out that when people are presented by two groups of numbers, one picked at random either by throwing die or using RNG and other one created by human, they often pick wrong group when asked to picked one that seem more random to them. People expect uniformity even in randomness, but that simple doesn't happen. You can have really bad luck sometimes as I could testify from my own experience, playing desktop games with my friends :)

I will delete my data points and accept it as a statistical anomaly. Definitively confirmation bias not.

Thanks

I have noticed that some higher levels have lately been going insane over being beaten by a lower level. I was playing on another account last night with snowgiants and a Lv.29 thought Lopdo gave snowgiants some hidden bonus to help low-levels. I explained EVERYTHING to him, yet he still thought they had some special ability that few knew about. This insanity is getting out of hand, he was very rude about losing to me, and stayed almost until the game ended. (I won) He left very furious. I think some people need to realize that not ALL lower-levels are unexpereinced players. This isn't on just one instance that I noticed it, I notice it nearly EVERY time I play Guest - Level 5 with players level15 - level 35 that they go nuts when they lose to a low level. :? I don't know what's going on with them, but this needs to end.

You misunderstood my inquiry as this thread is not a rant about losing a game to a low level player. This was specifically about rank and any factors that may influence the outcome of an individual attack without regard to the players experience.

YEs, I do understand that, but I am adding on. What I said still fits under this Subject.
