but it shouldn't be, should it? I will have to think about whether to count draw as a win or not. It is tricky one

Lopdo , i don't think a draw should be counted as a win , with players like Bloodbone boasting he has a 77% win rate but in truth it should be a lot less as every game he allies then draws. As for the xps shared in a draw i'm not interested , but it would be nice to see it not as a win, this may discourage some of the allying.Actually thinking about it xp's should be a lot less say by 50% for drawn games. Then players who think they found the loop-hole in leveling up quicker would be put off and go for a win. But this also wouldn't stop allies completely as they would alternate games as to who would win.

Agreed on counting it as a win. This is a major draw to wanting to team up for a "win". Eliminating that would encourage a all out war attitude. Maybe counting draws alone? If not, counting as a loss is better than counting win.

or you can add a statistic, on surrender and tie rates :)
its a little more coding, but will really add to the stats.
Draws don't affect negatively or positively, that simple :geek:

The question is: what does "won round" mean? is it surviving to the end or is it defeating all other players on the map?!

Defeating all other players on the map, which, in fact, means surviving to the end. :)

Me personally? I agree with Drone6o3's idea - making a separate statistic makes perfect sense. Alternatively, you can leave it as it is today (X rounds won), and then add in brackets, in the same line "(Y of which was drawn).

Hell, you can even count a draw as half a win (and even a third in case of a three-way-draw), but I suppose it would complicate matters beyond any need.

Well yeah, obviously a draw situation is the exclusion.

If Ozserf's cool idea in another thread was implemented (timed rounds) then there would be 2 such possible scenarios.
