I'll leave Lopdo to address some of this, but I can tell you:

1. The gear and stats you have now will be ported into VW2.0
2. On the table as options for viable updates:
Clan features
Friend system
Rank system
Algorithm fixes for XP and Shards
New races
Player badges

Of course, the amount of time and detail Lopdo will put into v2.0 will likely be reflected by the amount of monetary support he has gained here.

I'm pretty sure Lopdo has said that purchases in VW 1 will be transferred over to VW 2 if/when it comes out. Also,

hmm... I never really considered making 2.0 version, it would require lot of changes to make it "fair". but I suppose if I added ranks, fixed xp calculations and add friends feature, maybe clans as well, it might be enough, what do you say?

So, friends feature and clans would probably be the big new feature… along with possibly player badges as recently suggested.

Edit: Dangit techgump you beat me. (I bet you hear that a lot at the end of VW games )

I've donated before and what happened? update 1.8. NIce eh? I pay a ton of money only for it to be wasted on greed. if lopdo actually listens to others i might think about it

I just don't understand this mindset. First, I am not sure it is ever necessary to spend a "ton" of money on this game. Second, Lopdo seems to listen well imo, but I think you are confusing "listening" vs "acting upon". Just because he did not agree with you, does not mean he did not listen. Lastly, greed surely is not the issue here. Anyone who is greedy ought probably not become a flash game developer. I can confidently say Lopdo is not raking in cash hand over fist from this game. If anything, it's probably hard for him right now to justify more work into this game, as it is not profitable.... hence my donation fund for it. Logic easily agrees with this statement, as if he was making loads of cash and was greedy, he'd be doing more to the game right now to make even more money.

1.Age
2. no money
3.no credit/debit card (because of age)
3.no job
4.parents wont help
5.bet you didnt notice 2 #3s

so to address some of the issues brought forth...

- tech summed upcoming features pretty nicely, but nothing is certain, I might add or remove something from that list
- tech is right, I did not get rich thanks to VW, if I count hours I put into it I am still in negative numbers. I am doing this update mainly for the community, you guys are awesome and I would miss you
- don't want to get your hopes up, but I am seriously considering putting no boosts option back and adding different combinations to the mix (boost but no race bonuses, race bonuses but no boosts, everything, nothing)
- if you want to help but can't/don't want to donate, that's perfectly fine, just spread the word about the game or this donation fund
