Alright, we can calm down now, just let me remind you the last time we discussed this. My opponents ended up merely insulting me because they were incapable (mentally?) of proving me wrong. Discussing their perception of my personality instead of arguing. And telling me what to do. And today you are acting exactly the same way. I never did go down for such lowly agruing methods.

I think it would be cool to have achievements in the game.

+1

let me thank you very much about your precious advice on what should i do with my life, i will surely write it down to my Uber Great Book Of Precious Advices From People Of The Internet

Do you have some prejudice towards the Internet? The Internet is just a medium for information transmission. People are not of the Internet... people are people, some of which use and/or evolve the Internet. Which I might add is bar none my most useful source in obtaining information, and I would expect more so as time continues. Dismissing "People of the Internet" with sarcasm because they are communicating with you via the Internet may be a bit naive on your part. As for my advice, take it for what you paid for it.

Back to fair games... I don't know any game that in the end is fair play, simply because people that play a specific game more typically have a clear advantage with skill/knowledge. Others are just smarter, faster, better trained, or have better equipment. That's not "fair" either, but this is life. As is the need for game developers to make money for their efforts in creating games we can chose to play for absolutely free (and imo can still do fairly without payment, you just have to have some skill). It is no man's obligation to give you, in this case a freeloader, something for nothing... and if he does, you might consider returning the favor by supporting the game with some $. If you have a palatable solution for Lopdo to your perceived problem, I suggest you share it rather than complain. That is what is fair considering his effort.

As for insults, I think you are making a stretch. You did ignore that statement while commenting on the others; no insult, just a fact. As for an uneducated statement, as I said, we all can and do make em, and perhaps I am wrong in having said it. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying your complaint is right imo, because I am not. I am saying that you have knowledge of the subject more than I expected. I won't even go into detail with your last post, whereby you insult others while trying to proclaim your higher ground of not doing such. No one likes to be wrong, and hence I am sure you, nor I, will see eye to eye. Let it rest there.

An update would be great of course, and as people here have said - a new version will pop-up on the homepage of sites such as ArmorGames and immediately attract "fresh blood".

However, if for any reason to this new version will reset all the shards\rank\experience of veteran players (especially if it will replace the old Vortex Wars) I will cease to play the game, because it would mean part of my effort was fruitless.

I say "part", because naturally, the purpose of the game is also to have fun, and effort must be put into it to have fun, but some of the effort also goes into upgrading\leveling up, and as techgump said, starting from scratch (especially for higher levels) will not appeal to many (especially to people who have paid real cash and as a result of such a move lost their goods).

Like MaryJane has said, making such a move will likely turn old-timers away from the game, achieving an opposite result of what was desired.

Also, aren't ranks already incorporated into the game, or you talking about leaderboard ranks?

I'm not sure, but I think he was referring to a new ranking system, no?

It won't, I already dropped that idea, it was stupid. If there is version 2.0 you will keep all your levels/shards but there will be bunch of new stuff

I still don't think those should be kept. If a version 2 is made, it should be a new game, not an update to the current one, and they should coexist, without one simply being a subset of the other.
