Using basically the same list as Vortex_Master:

Drugs: Definitely legalize marijuana to some degree.
Guns: Clamp down on who gets them. Enough of these sick killings.
LGBT+: Absolutely not. What these people do is morally and, even more importantly to me, Biblically wrong.
Black Lives: Of course they matter. I like the idea of videos of all arrests and such, it could eliminate a lot of problems.
Abortion: Stop it. If someone doesn't want their child, at least take them into an orphanage or nursery, take care of them instead of criminals who live like kings.
Environment: I would stop just cutting down forests and such for no reason. As to global warming, in the half dozen advanced science books I've read, each one has said that very little of the ozone layer is destroyed by global warming and that global warming is not such a big problem as of yet. You realize that zero deaths are related to the destruction of the ozone, yet multiple deaths are related to the "safer" options we've started using in place of ozone "destroyers".
Foreign Aid: Take care of our own first, forget spreading Democracy to those under dictators and such.
Foreign Policy: No attacks or wars unless attacked first, or unless in coalition with multiple other world-powers.
Military: Upgrade our technology. Our B-50s are ancient.
Tax: Give everyone the same tax. It's unfair to tax those who worked hard for their wealth more. We need to stop paying athletes so much. Their salaries are enormous, and they aren't doing anything worthy of that much money. Spread it around a bit more.
Income: Leave it as it is, can't raise minimum wage when the country is billions/trillions in debt.

I will leave any debates/discussions of topics for if we make a political thread.

I think we will find that the forum is pretty moderate, as are most Americans.

EDIT: We should have a weekly topic or something. Put up a poll on a certain subject and discuss it below.

As long as we can keep it civil, which I'm sure we can. Just avoid the obvious potential fights... like religion mostly.

They are relevant. Sometimes you have to take a stand on things and there may very well come a point in our lifetime where we are forced to do exactly that. There are issues that are right or wrong...and opinions do matter....yours matters.

It's objectively better than the people who would argue with you over anything and everything you say.
