Am I the only one thinking that, forumers especially the popular ones,
are like celebrities on VW?
Like I can picture a random dude on VW going
"Oh my god its FM"

Celebrities to who? Hardly anyone joins/uses the forum anymore, in fact I think you 'celebrities" have caused the exact opposite feelings and killed the forum. It should be a place where all players are welcome as equals, yet some clearly think they're more important than others?

As most of you 'celebrities' never even play the game anymore, no newer players even know who you are, never mind cream their pants just because you posted on a thread!

The real question is do some of you even want the forum to grow? or do you want it to be an exclusive club for 'celebrities' ???

No, thats not how I think at all,
Do you believe in the American Dream? (Forum Dream?)
The American Dream is that you can become anything you want, I believe us as formers do as much as we can to introduce the forums and
give a warm welcome to them, If it comes off the way you described, I'm sorry, that is not my intent.

But as I was saying, anyone can become a "celebrity" if they spent the time one forums, anyone can do it, its not a "exclusive club"
that only "important people" are allowed to join in, I just feel the people who don't wish to take the time to make a account or feel the need too,
read the forums sometimes, and enjoy, or debate what we say, some with feelings so strong to make a account and voice their opinion as well, sadly
those people don't usually return however, but they are surely welcome.

Importance? I wouldn't use that term, but more of inspirational, a name you see most often, a person who has made the biggest
impact on you and so on, for instance, the biggest impacts of my time on VW have been, Jeremiah, Autumn, Rat, and VM.
As they would technically be my "celebrities". I may have used the wrong term, but I wanted it to be fancy.

Back when I'd watch the forums, I'd get excited to see certain members post, specifically Lopdo and the mods. When I began to post myself, I'd look forward to reading the responses from those members who had contributed a lot (at that time) to the forums. It's not a cliche that Funnyman is trying to forum, just how people are naturally.

This forum community is deprived of life and could use a breath of fresh air. I'd love to see a new populace come to us, but it's seeming ever more unlikely.

I do find a few on Vortex Wars to be a bit arrogant at times, but I can see you were only joking with your comment. I do apologise for my out of the blue over reaction!
