I believe that those of us who are still young enough to be in school and/or college/uni are busy with schoolwork, whereas those of us who are elder are busy with work. I know the latter holds true for me. I've been averaging 10-12 hours at work 5 days a week for a while now. It's hectic. I have little time for leisure and I check in when I can.

Aside from that, I do believe that you've been doing a wonderful job, BeatlesFan.

Where's the House of Representatives!? Clearly you need a bicameral legislature.

Seeing as each Senator represents like three or four people including themselves if we distribute evenly and that they're voted in by the vote of those who have already been voted in, I'm not sure it's a good comparison. Plus, if a House were added and it weren't the same members, then it would be most of the rest of the members, meaning that we'd have two independent legislatures that had no control over one another. Effectively, two completely separate complete democracies controlled by a dictator.

I propose we start this immediately.

The US Senate is the upper house, which means it's supposed to represent the equal opinions of the regional (state) governments, which was important when we were more confederate and less of the federal system we are now. Then, the House is lower, so it is supposed to be more directly reflective of the wills of the people as a whole, split into relatively even sections... sort of. I'm not sure that VWC's, or any clan's council, can qualify as either of those.

Thanks for the support from several, including Givin, V_M, Guest77. I (along with all of the other Senators) will be running for Clan Leader December 1 to 15. More than glad to continue if that is the way the voting turns out.
