The WolfPack

Want to create/join clan? Do you want to check out other clan members?

The problem is that there isn't really anyone active enough to take it over at the moment. We have plenty of Wolves who could be leaders, but no one who could fill the space as well as we require. (that isn't to say they necessarily lack the skills to be Alpha, but that the issue is my inability to serve and no one else would be a significant improvement in that field)

And with that in mind, we have two options that are both, in my opinion, fairly promising. If you take over, you have enough experience with all the roles and time you've had with the Pack, it wouldn't be a problem, especially if you use the other human resources around you. I'm positive that you'd be better than how I'm doing right now, and honestly you'd probably be an improvement in many aspects compared to my best. I wouldn't run against you this time, though I may still try for whatever position you decide is coleader.

We could also try the restructuring that you mentioned, though there should probably be limits on how much we change. Not because we couldn't do it or because it wouldn't be better, but with the downward trend in overall everything in Vortex Wars, it mightn't be the best idea to do everything all at once. But some changes, especially to leadership before we make this decision, might be welcome for some people... brainstorm away! :)

I think you're attributing more activity to my name than is warranted. Much of my time has truthfully been spent on another game, climbing it's ladders much the way I climbed these.

I'm honestly not active enough to know who many of the newer members are but i think you all especially Autumn and Fang could use this video right now. just remember not to fail on purpose but to not give up when ever you fail. Like the speaker says in this video "Failure provides two things. 1.Wisdom and 2.Humility."

You seem to be having the same problem WC had before the power first switched from Rat to me. I think a real push for recruitment is needed. And I mean a REAL push. Everyone needs to get involved. We went through maybe twenty people before we got a good group of people who would stick with us for quite some time. I know it sounds redundant, because everyone says it, but it is really the only way other than eating up another clan, which most likely isn't going to happen any time soon.

It'll probably be tough, but you will get through it. Good luck, and never be too arrogant to ask for help. :)

Not saying you are a bad leader Autumnwolf17 but a leader that counts past members and poor conquests as a great achievement needs to start wakening up.You had many good player but being an account for numbers and only gaining his own levels through training games put so many of your members off.Sorry if i'm blunt but a player who boasts the greatest clan without his own achievements as a good player will fail.

You once asked my advice , i told you to drop all that clan killing , you actually never beat a real clan (3\4 members back then wasn't much of a clan ) and two others merged with you.As for your so called 75 members , you were lucky to field 15 on a good week.Only person who let The Wolfpack down was yourself and the dream you had.

But not all is too late , you still have a hardcore of 6\8 players.Just lose the empire dream and start fighting.

Sorry if this post up-sets a few but truth rarely is soft.

ps,Autumnwolf17 you can make the pack a clan again , as a fighting force not dream numbers.

Red - My words
Black - High's words

Looking at this, I realize I've really responded more than I needed to. I'm not at all upset or trying to start a fight, but I figured since I took the time to respond to each part of this so much, I may as well post it to clear some things up, because I see the misunderstanding. Please try to ignore anything that I say in response that seems particularly provocative, I really don't mean it to be so.

This also shouldn't be considered to be exclusively directed at Highlander, I just happen to have chosen his comment to respond to.

The only major clan we merged with was the almost completely inactive second Bears clan led by Chris, and only members who applied were added in.).As for your so called 75 members (It's actually nearly 100 over our entire history, but that's counting every single inactive member and ex-Wolves. I personally believe Fang could do better in many ways. But even now that I'm not available, I'm not "letting them down". I'd like to readdress one thing specifically, and really emphasize it. We don't claim some huge activity. We've been acknowledging and dealing with our inactivity for a while now, especially very recently. Anything that I've said that leads you to believe I'm positively exaggerating the situation at all is one of three things; inspirational optimism about the future directed specifically towards the Pack, some reference to the past or continuous history, or a misunderstanding on your part.

The one that is brought up the most is the members list. I think this needs to be set straight. It is not at all meant to lie about larger numbers, it barely even has any purpose for other clans. Here's the entire list of everything the member's list is intended for:

-To recognize, respect, and honor all members who are or have been part of the Pack (an ex-Wolves list is likely to be added for those who want to be recognized)
-To allow other Wolves and I check to see who our PackMates are
-To allow other clans trying to set up any event with us can check to see who's a Wolf
-To give direct links to the forum profiles of all members
-To provide a member directory with important information for each
-To keep track of WolfPack history and information, just like the majority of the front page information
-To make the front page look a little bigger, because why not

If you have a problem with any of that, feel free to bring it up, but now that you know, any issues you have other than that are officially your fault.

Let's resume the war. The winner is the clan to reach 15 wins first. Wolfpack is currently ahead 6 to 5 in the quest to reach 15 wins. I request that we pick up on Saturday.

USA East Coast Time = 2 PM
USA West Coast Time = 11 AM

Will you be ready to fight?
In Vortex Wars: 50% of the game is luck. 50% is skill. The other 50% is math.
