Alright guys... I've been with ya for two years and a few days... and you know I'm getting less active, for many many reasons, most of which I've listed far too many times as excuses. On a daily basis, I'm sure you've noticed I'm not quite fit to the standards that I feel a clan leader should have. Sure, I'm on the forums more than the majority of users, but I'm often failing to follow through with the updates and renovations I've suggested... and besides, I'm certainly not leading us into meets and battles with other clans like a leader should. And ultimately, I feel it's hurting the Pack.

Don't worry, I'm not planning to leave the Wolves, even if I become completely inactive I still kind of want to be listed on the page... sentimental reasons and all... but I would like you to expect some changes in leadership within the Pack, because though I am yet to discuss it with the other leaders, I would say it is far more likely than not. It's not because I don't want to do what I do anymore, it's that I cannot practically do it as often as I need to.

What exactly is going to happen, I don't know. I feel that a lot of it depends on Fang's opinions, since he is Co-Alpha, our most active on both game and forum, and let's be honest, he's probably going to forcefully conquer his own small nation one day. A number of outcomes are possible. We could switch to a multi-leader system similar to what WC put in when they were in our position (and hopefully, no offense meant, with more success). We could also be looking at a single AlphaFang, with myself or someone else as Co-Alpha. And if all else fails, we could finally merge and be Wolfiar's Crack (*hint hint*) and see where that goes.

I'm not sure how serious I am about that last one, but Rat would have a heart attack...

I was originally going to share this in PMs first, but I feel that I'd like to get the entire Pack involved in this discussion, that always seems to work better anyway. I'm sorry to any Wolves this creates a problem for, but assuming there is a change like I talked about, I think it will be for the best for our Pack. Thank you all. :)

And for the love of all that is good and pure, please, if you are considering making a completely non-constructive and negative comment, make it on another thread. Make your own thread just for it, I don't care. Just not here... If you are the kind of person who frequently does this, it might be for the best to just stay off the thread for a few days, I'd like to have at least a semi-serious discussion here. Thanks! :)

Mabey the clan has reached it's limit maybe it's time to retire all good things come to a end I say that cause I care.

None taken. Luckily you guys still have a pretty healthy forum community. I've always liked the idea of mergers, name change involved or not, I've been through two myself, and they are usually successful in pulling together the most active of the two clans. However, both "mergers" I've been through had a virtually dead clan joining with WC, and not two clans coming together as one completely, although two offers, serious or not have been on the table, and I will say, I am not against it for the most part. Either way, the Warrior spirit lives on, just as the Wolf spirit will live on with or without you, Autumn. With of without WP, even. I've seen many changes in leadership, some more successful than others, and I know that WP will make it through this no matter what is done. You are full of leaders, and sometimes leaders need to spread their wings, otherwise they leave the flock for one they can leave. You guys are the perfect balance between anarchy and republic. I think as long as the role of the Alpha stays simply to mediate and organize, and nothing more, you all will do just fine. Good luck.

I doubt Wolfiar's Crack will ever actually happen. People are too dedicated to one or the other to give up their soveriegnty.
It's about as likely as Vortex Soldiers-Riders-Warriors Pack of Secrets.

Your last bit has me thinking of the least likely combinations now. Military Mantids and Vortex of Secrets and probably the least likely. The best simple combination name I could think of was Thirsty Angels, but that's taking two inactive clans.

Two out of three of your leaders would probably be happy with it and at while I'm not positive about a few, most of ours would too. Fang of course would die from happiness. :)

I'm happy that the Angel's are still being remembered, even if they are being portrayed as thirsty.

I understand where you are coming from, Wolf. I'm honored to take over the Pack if that is what needs to be done.

Whatever you guys feel is best for the pack. We all know that you guys wouldn't purposefully sabotage the pack.

I'd like to wait just a few days to get some Wolf opinions, but I'm glad to see that of the people who have posted nobody seems to negative about it (or for that matter happy because I'd be gone) :D

I know you know the few rules for leadership I established. And let's be honest, at this point in time you're the only Wolf really fit with time commitments and 'popularity' to take over. Elections in the future, those could have more to them, but I feel confident in having whatever happens be a simple transfer of role rather then an election, with the idea being that you would hold an election sometime down the line.

The question is, what exactly are we doing? I'm fairly set that Fang will be leader in some way or another, and would prefer if more of the Pack voice their opinions on how they want the leadership to be set up from there. You know, how it's run, what roles and jobs we have, whatever.

I'd also like to say again that while I am leaving as AlphaWolf, I'll stick around in the front line, because I'm still at least forum active and may be more active in general in the future. You should expect me to run for some sort of leadership position, like CoAlpha or FangWolf, in which case we really would have to change that name. Fang'll decide how that works. (Side note, if I ever feel I'm fit for and desire to lead again, I won't do what Drone did. Just settling any worries about that.)

I feel it necessary for us to hold an election to decide where we will go. I see three paths ahead.

Namely, I would hold an election and if I win for Alpha, I would assume total control of the Pack, little to nothing would change aside from a few swapped names. The Wolfpack is degrading, not in memory, but in activity.

One alternative would be an entire restructuring of our system, the theme would be the same, but the way in which we operate may change significantly. Namely, this would mean more ranks, awards, and the like for our members. You know me... The system would be much different.

The other, and probably least likely alternative would be both Autumn and I retiring from the Pack, and passing it on to the next Generation of Wolves. Whom that would be, would be decided in the election.

I'd like to hear some responses regarding these three paths.
