You act like vw is your soul or some kind of belief or meth. It's just a game.

Also, I was talking about the people who are no longer interested in the game.

nope I just like the game

it is after all, one of the best strategy games out there. challenging, other people, strategies to figure out and undermine, what more could you ask for?

Less of a base on luck and less time playing it.

I agree that vw is a fantastic game, but I've simply played it too much. (2198 matches)
I always read read as read first before I read read as read instead.

I have;

9991 games
1935 wins

And although the haters are getting more nasty , this game still holds a challenge everyday.I can go several days and not a win , then my personnel best win 11 games in a day ( i play 6+ players , i want the last achievement).The game was never designed to be light-sabres and flashing lights, its about out-witting the other player.True luck holds the percentage but all dice game do but tactics with some maths makes the good players.

that last part- it's always a challenge. that's the thrill to this entire game. no matter what it is literally never the same. you will never play the same match the exact same way twice

The game (and forum) may very well have peaked some time ago, but so did Pong, Space Invaders, Metal Gear, Grand Theft Auto, and everything else more than a year old. And before you yell at me over Metal Gear or GTA, I am referring to the originals. It appears that VW 2.0 was Lopdo's last intent to update Vortex Wars, so since there never will be a 3.0 it will likely never reach what it once was.

However, the game is still active and so is the forum. Those of us who have been here a long time either compare it to "what is once was" or to some other very popular online game with a hyperactive forum.

The veterans here have many interests outside of VW and good thing they do. However, using VWC as an example, we have over 20 active players and that is just one of about 8 active clans. I will continue to remove players that do not post there for 3 months in part to prove that they remain active = they are real and they are here on a somewhat regular basis. We can't expect all of them to be here several times a day, every day, as some of us are, but they are here enough.

For a game that has not been updated in quite some time, this is an active game and forum.
In Vortex Wars: 50% of the game is luck. 50% is skill. The other 50% is math.
