I say that the elders are those who have been around long enough that people forget that how long they have actually been here, and respect their authority, not only because they have been here so long, but also because of who they are as a player, and as a person. I say that the elders are those who's names we remember throughout time, whether they are with us now, or not. I say that the elders are most of the forum active players that are still here, as well as many from the past.

I joined 10 months after the forum was created, but I have been with this game since the summer of 2011, during beta (as a guest). I think that anyone that remembers beta is an elder, no doubt. It is a flexible term for me, but I know who I consider the elders of VW, and many joined before me; however, many have joined after.
