When you shower, use barely warmer than room temp water (warmer water dries your skin more than colder), and be sure to put on aloe/moisturizing lotion right after. If your skin starts to dry, you're much more likely to start blistering.

Lemon butter sauce.

I am so freaking sunburned. The entirety of my arms (Tank top), my lower legs (shorts), as well as my face and neck.
It hurts like hell, and I look like a lobster. I think it may blister.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to treatment?

That's the thing, I thought I'd be fine, as I'm pretty tan.

My new topic is: Marathon.

I am a runner (as a hobby). I have ran many 5Ks, Half Marathons, one team relay event, and am about to run my third Full Marathon = 26.2 miles. I will not be on a Wheaties box or get an Olympic medal, but I do okay in these events, usually placing in the top third of all runners. My event on Sunday will have close to 10,000 Marathon competitors plus another 20,000 running a Half Marathon.

I truly enjoy the training (most of the time) necessary to be able to get ready for this major undertaking. Race day is amazing. It is a great feeling that is hard to describe. This particular event has a band and cheerleaders about every mile along the entire course. People line up to hold up signs of encouragement and urge you forward. They make you feel like a winner every step of the way.

The people are wonderful. Each athlete is just trying to do their own best and not trying to beat you specifically - although once the finish line is in sight we do go all out.

I highly recommend race events for anyone able and interested as long as you are healthy enough and properly trained. I started with 5Ks at first (3.1 miles) and built up from there.

I will probably miss most of Sunday here but will be back on Monday.
