Here are the election rules:


Section 5 – Clan Leader Election Rules:

5A Clan Leader is an elected position after the initial setup (BeatlesFan is the First Clan Leader).
5B The Clan Leader serves a three month term as follows:
• January 1 to March 31 (Voting takes place December 1 to December 15)
• April 1 to June 30 (Voting takes place March 1 to March 15)
• July 1 to September 30 (Voting takes place June 1 to June 15)
• October 1 to December 31 (Voting takes place September 1 to September 15)
5C ALL Senate Members that have no other clan affiliation are automatically candidates for the Clan Leader position during an election cycle.
5D Senate Members with another clan affiliation (multi-clan) are not eligible to run for the position of Clan Leader (This is determined as of the first day of the voting period. If a Senate Member with another clan affiliation (multi-clan) wishes to run in the election they must quit the other clan by the first day of the voting period).
5E ALL Clan Members except Recruits each have TWO votes to cast (Recruits cannot vote). Members will vote for their choice of Clan Leader and Co-Leader. Their vote will be weighted as follows: Your vote for Clan Leader is worth 5 points when cast and your vote for Co-Leader is worth 3 points when cast. The election will take place on a thread for that election and votes are public.
5F TIES: In the event of a tie, if the then current Clan Leader is tied for the lead – they remain the Clan Leader. Only if there is a tie – If the current Clan Leader is not tied for first, then there is a three day runoff election with just the tied members as candidates. If a tie remains after the second round, then the current Clan Leader will select between the two tied candidates.
5G Clan Co-Leader Position: The Clan Co-Leader is the candidate receiving second place in the voting. In the event of a tie for second place – the new Clan Leader will designate the Co-Leader from the tied candidates for second place. This begins with the second Co-Leader. The first Co-Leader is to be designated by BeatlesFan during this cycle.
5H Clan Forum Page: The Clan Forum Page will be “owned” by the current Clan Leader. After any election (or other event) where there is a new Clan Leader – A new clan page will be “opened” by the new Clan Leader. Only this first post is to be copied exactly, and a new thread begins. A request will then be made to have the old thread locked.
5I: First Election will be held during the June 1 to June 15, 2014 time frame (for the term that starts on July 1, 2014).

I will open up the election thread on Saturday, May 24th.

EVERY single-clan Senator as of June 1st is a candidate. If any multi-clan Senator wants to be in the election, they must be ONLY in VWC as of June 1st.

This clan elects the Clan Leader and Co-Leader. Every clan member (except recruits) has an equal voice in determining the leadership.

Can anyone confirm that we are now at 5-5 with Wolfpack, and not 4-4?

At any rate - Let's get back to the war this weekend. I think we have WWII coming up, and we should see WP in game either way. First clan to 15 wins is the winner of the war.
