Started a new world today, going good as of now.

Several of the guys we killed all reincarnated in O43... Way too far away for a good relationship with the big Wolf. So, I've been sending troops on half-day journeys to punish your entire alliance.

And now I'm going for Given's new alliance I think.

He played for a while did good but went inactive and his cities were taken (he was there before you)

I have learned quite a bit more about how to survive Grepolis since my first city was conquered. I believe I have found the solution: I joined a world where the setting does not allow conquest. On that forum a common set of questions and answers suggest that as long as you are willing to stick around you cannot be defeated. I must say though that the growth in this mode is very slow, but not a bad trade off to guarantee survival.

I can't believe I missed this. Ryankill is the guy that conquered my city! I even exchanged messages with him and had no clue. Well, now I know why some "random" player targeted me.
