It came to here simply because of the VAST amount of players targeting Highlander with strong language both in chat and in game names, creating of accounts that slander him with their names, and then games where guests and low level account intentionally troll him, often times multiple ones in the same game. That's just made the community a bit more sensitive. As far as I understand, none of that was ever in your intention, and I assure you, you may play with that account if you so wish. You are correct, this is a war game, however, young children, as well as people with morals, also play it. It's in everyone's best interest if we get along and follow the rules of the game. Unfortunately, a position such as mine is needed, as there will always be those that break the rules. I hope you enjoy the game, and the relative peace that I can provide. Thank you for giving your side of the story, as it has cleared up for me the situation.

This is my response to "BeatlesFan": Are you out of your mind? The game you were referring to where I was indeed playing as "HLRevenge" was the first game that account would have ever played. How could it possibly be an account guilty of harassment if it has never seen a game? A game i might add, that "Highlander" was not present in. Either way, as I told you in game, I have no problems with "Highlander". I actually pity him. He gets a lot of hate. And while I don't know him well enough to know how much, if any, is deserved, your actions are completely unjustifiable. Where do you get off kicking an account based on a name you don't like, and frankly don't understand? And to make matters worse, you then seek my real account banned... You are way out of bounds here. HL does not stand for "Highlander" in ever case, nor even in most. Maybe you've been at this game for too long, but in my mind "Highlander" is simply a movie. It certainly does not bring to mind some random player on an online game. I can't get over how absurd this post it. As a moderator in several capacities, not related to this game of course, I can honestly say that it's shit like this that drives us crazy. People like you are the reason Techgump quit, plain and simple. I hope a moderator wouldn't waste his time on this. But if he or she does, I think you may be surprised who is deemed to have abused the system.

I'll be the bigger person though, not a high bar but still. But if a moderator ever gets around to this post, do not ban "BeatlesFan". I would never ask for such a thing based on what has happened, despite the fact he fired first. I'll just make a mental note to avoid "BeatlesFan" in the future, and I invite anyone else reading this to do the same in the future. If you would like to apology, however, I will be more than willing to accept. Although it's rare anyone is ever convinced of anything in an online forum, I'll give you the chance. Maybe it was late, maybe it was a bad day for you, I don't know, but you must at least be able to see in hindsight the foolishness of this your actions. I won't hold my breath.

Thanks to anyone that bothered to read this. And by the way, since I know the suspense is killing you, HL stands for Half Life. It was a recurring joke of mine with a friend, but apparently it wasn't very funny. I won't be using that account again. There is apparently some very thin skin, I'd rather avoid irritating...

I 100% accept the ruling of the Moderator in regards to the initial post and the response.

I will not however apologize for kicking a lvl 1 account. Every player can do the same - and no one needs a reason. If tomorrow I see a lvl 1 HLisaGreatGuy - I will kick that account too.
I will also not apologize for kicking you. If I am to 100% accept your explanation - then you should NOT have then jumped in with your lvl 30 account to complain. Just play your lvl 1 or 30 - You can't be both on the same map with me. Wait for a new map or don't complain about the other account.

Feel free to put me in your personal ban list if you like. Sounds like a good idea for you if that is what you prefer to do.

I do admit that I should not have asked for a ban on your account - the evidence does not prove anything that warranted that. So I do agree with you that I was wrong to request that. For that I do apologize. Even if I had been correct - I did not have sufficient evidence. At most - with your admission to being both accounts - a warning from a Mod (if they were to do anything at all based on my post) to not use both in game at the same time would be the maximum penalty.

If I do meet you again in game - I hope it is on good terms, but again, if you choose to ban me - that is your right.

I will not ban you "BeatlesFan". I very, very rarely ban anyone at all. Also, your apology for seeking a ban was the only apology that I wanted. It was over the line. You are of course within your rights to kick a level one. That is, however, why I bothered to explain to you who I really was and reveal to you my other account. Please, however, remember that at no point did I ever log in with both at the same time. It is my understanding that multiple accounts are permitted as long as they are not used simultaneously. Something that I have never done. I'll see you around. Just please refrain from throwing the ban card with so little provocation, or even none whatsoever. You probably don't remember but literally the day before this post you had asked me to join a clan, one of the reasons this post completely blew my mind. Either way, thanks for the apology and best of luck.

I am going to briefly "break a rule" here in order to retract my TAKozak post on this thread. I know that the Mods have already put closure to this issue. After this I will stop on this topic.

As shown, I publicly accused TAKozak. You can read the exchange. Since then, he and I have exchanged a number of PMs back and forth. I think that he handled himself well and I am convinced that he is innocent of what I charged him with. He has earned my respect.
