Okay - I have no screen shots - Was not looking for anything and did not think to get a shot - but Level 30 player Takozak and HLRevenge are multi-accounts and the same player.

I made a map and HLRevenge joined. It is a level 1 account and I kicked it. I don't need a reason - but I believed it to be an anti-Highlander account.

HLRevenge tried to rejoin my map and "begged" to not be kicked - said he is not a noob, made a new account, and to let him play.

I told HLRevenge that Highlander is my friend and to stop harassing him - and I kicked him again.

Right after that Takozak joined my map and complained that I had kicked HLRevenge.

I asked him why he cared and even more how did he know that I had done that.

He said that he was HLRevenge and it was his other account. He said he made the HLRevenge account for fun.

I told him basically that he needed to stop bothering Highlander and kicked him too.

Takozak is intentionally harassing Highlander - There are lots of other games to play besides Vortex Wars. I suggest that he find one. In the meantime - I am directly accusing him of harassing Highlander and am requesting a ban for baiting, harassment and for him being unable to resolve this himself, so a Moderator has to for him.

This is my response to "BeatlesFan": Are you out of your mind? The game you were referring to where I was indeed playing as "HLRevenge" was the first game that account would have ever played. How could it possibly be an account guilty of harassment if it has never seen a game? A game i might add, that "Highlander" was not present in. Either way, as I told you in game, I have no problems with "Highlander". I actually pity him. He gets a lot of hate. And while I don't know him well enough to know how much, if any, is deserved, your actions are completely unjustifiable. Where do you get off kicking an account based on a name you don't like, and frankly don't understand? And to make matters worse, you then seek my real account banned... You are way out of bounds here. HL does not stand for "Highlander" in ever case, nor even in most. Maybe you've been at this game for too long, but in my mind "Highlander" is simply a movie. It certainly does not bring to mind some random player on an online game. I can't get over how absurd this post it. As a moderator in several capacities, not related to this game of course, I can honestly say that it's shit like this that drives us crazy. People like you are the reason Techgump quit, plain and simple. I hope a moderator wouldn't waste his time on this. But if he or she does, I think you may be surprised who is deemed to have abused the system.

I'll be the bigger person though, not a high bar but still. But if a moderator ever gets around to this post, do not ban "BeatlesFan". I would never ask for such a thing based on what has happened, despite the fact he fired first. I'll just make a mental note to avoid "BeatlesFan" in the future, and I invite anyone else reading this to do the same in the future. If you would like to apology, however, I will be more than willing to accept. Although it's rare anyone is ever convinced of anything in an online forum, I'll give you the chance. Maybe it was late, maybe it was a bad day for you, I don't know, but you must at least be able to see in hindsight the foolishness of this your actions. I won't hold my breath.

Thanks to anyone that bothered to read this. And by the way, since I know the suspense is killing you, HL stands for Half Life. It was a recurring joke of mine with a friend, but apparently it wasn't very funny. I won't be using that account again. There is apparently some very thin skin, I'd rather avoid irritating...

One thing I forgot to mention, although it should go without saying based on my previous comment. If you were referring that I was each one of those accounts "BeatlesFan", you are sadly mistaken. I would recommend you focus your anger on the offending party next time and not simply the first username you see that involves the letters "H" and "L". It's a shame really. I've had perfectly pleasant interactions with you in the past...

You must understand, Highlander's been dealing with the same person making new accounts by the day to troll him. So when a name comes up like "HLRevenge" in a community dealing with this sort of problem, the first thing most of us would do is to report it so that it can be dealt with, myself included. I'm more than willing to believe you on this, but I hope you understand why BF kicked/reported you. Given what's been happening, it was highly unlikely you weren't who we thought you were.

Anyway, thanks for not using the account, I hope to see you in the game sometime.

So long as you aren't harassing Highlander, or any other user for that matter, you are free to use your HLRevenge account, TAKozak. This seems to just be a misunderstanding, and as Autumwolf17 pointed out, it is unlikely you weren't who we expected.

No fingers are being pointed, and I won't be banning either of you.

It's fine. I won't be using the account. I just think that it's a bit unreasonable for this non-issue to be escalated to the level of moderators. Especially seeing as how I explained in game this very same fact to "BeatlesFan" before his post was submitted. I just don't see the necessity of anyone coming to the rescue of the highest leveled player in the game. Surely he can handle himself. He's proven that much. I understand that you don't want people dedicating their lives to harassing certain players, but it seems to me like a life that sad would be punishment enough. This is a war game after all. Regardless, I'm not really aware of the issue so I'll just back off. I suppose it's possible that by harassment you mean things far worse than simply targeting a player for defeat. I wish you all the best of luck. "Highlander and even "BeatlesFan" included.
