I like the idea, but I also believe the info to the Sabre account should just move along to VOLUNTEERS who are active and will actually maintain the council thread. The three person bench is a good idea and should not be thrown away. I believe that the three to be on the bench should be; BeatlesFan, Myself(I'm more active than most of the forums), and Jonsteederi. Just my beliefs.

Okay. This is an alternate option. If this is the case - Then Fangfallen can just pass along the Sabre account to the new bench and this thread will continue "as is". Let's see what everyone thinks about the various options.

Only problem with that is, I still retain the email used to sign it up, and I technically COULD usurp the account at my leisure. I have absolutely no intention in doing that though.

I am fine with BF joining the bench, if the other leaders are.

Atm there is no bench, which is why I suggested three new players join it.

Option one: All power over the Council is transferred BACK to Beatlesfan. (Please note, he made it in the first place, I just tried to streamline it, it came from him.)

Option two: Hold a re-election for the Bench.


Now, if you choose option one, Beatles will decide how things will move on.

I urge you all to choose option one, that's just my two pence.

Problem with just one person running it is, if he goes on vacation nobody can update(not that there's that much to update). But also if he decides to go inactive again (not implying anything Beatles just showing all arguments) we will be back at the chalkboard with the same problem as 6 months ago.

Still standing by to see what the Council decides.

To answer the question of how I would do things - simple:

I would copy and use the first few posts of this very thread - Exactly how they are now. No changes.

I would then track and update any pending or resolved votes as the Council decides them.

This is YOUR council, if allowed to "own the thread" all I can do is control the first post - everything else is up to the council. With that in mind - I pledge to be responsive to keep things updated.

In response to GivinUDaHimelik - It is easy to say what would happen if ANYONE that owns any thread goes inactive that you would like to continue - Simply open a new thread, copying the opening post.

I am not in need of the position - So if anyone has something else that "everyone can agree with" - I will vote in favor of that proposal. If Fangfallen is resigning as stated - I do hope that someone will own the thread. Personally, I do not like the "shared password" approach, but you guys will decide what happens.
