Clan Calendar:

Clan Leader/Co-Leader Elections are held every 3 months:

>>March 1 to March 15 (New Leaders start April 1)
>>June 1 to June 15 (New Leaders start July 1)
>>September 1 to September 15 (New Leaders start October 1)
>>December 1 to December 15 (New Leaders start January 1)

Recruitment Drives will last 2 weeks and take place once every 3 months:

>>Last two weeks of January (Sunday to Sunday)
>>Last two weeks of April (Sunday to Sunday)
>>Last two weeks of July (Sunday to Sunday)
>>Last two weeks of September (Sunday to Sunday)

So: In one easy to follow sequence, our yearly calendar looks like this:

>>January 1 = New Clan Leader/Co-Leader Terms start

>>Last two weeks of January (Sunday to Sunday) = Quarterly Recruitment Drive

>>March 1 to March 15 = Clan Leader/Co-Leader Elections

>>April 1 = New Clan Leader/Co-Leader Terms start

>>Last two weeks of April = Quarterly Recruitment Drive

>>June 1 to June 15 = Clan Leader/Co-Leader Elections

>>July 1 = New Clan Leader/Co-Leader Terms start

>>Last two weeks of July = Quarterly Recruitment Drive

>>September 1 to September 15 = Clan Leader/Co-Leader Elections

>>Last two weeks of September = Quarterly Recruitment Drive

>>October 1 = New Clan Leader/Co-Leader Terms start

There has been some disbelief with the acceptance of having my girlfriend join the clan.

She hasn't yet created a file, but when she does... do you, BeatlesFan, give her permission in joining Vortex Warriors Clan?

I'll get her to sign up for the forums as well as state her name (User) in this thread, and attempt to teach her some strategies.

I believe you've already given me permission, and told me on multiple occasions "Invite anyone that would make you feel welcome" (Not exact words, but same meaning). Seeing as I'd like her to join, I don't see why you'd be objected in letting Ashley join.
Greatly appreciated if you'd clear up the confusion, as when I stated that my girlfriend would be joining the VWC, some of the other clan members were in disbelief of my statement.

There are no restrictions for our members bringing in new players, except for Recruits.

If you nominate them on the clan page, the only thing missing is that they have to accept on the page AFTER you nominate them.

The new player is then IN the clan. The only question is where they start in the clan.

Any new player under lvl 10 must start as a Recruit.

Lvl 10 and above - Starts as Recruit if nominated by a Knight.
Lvl 10 and above - Starts as either Champion or Knight if nominated by a Senator or Champion.

So - All clan members may bring in anyone they want.

The clan rules state that FM and I are designated for the first cycle.

The first election isn't until June 1 to June 15. The first change in leadership can't take place until July 1.

Not to worry though about April 1, 2015. That election will take place from March 1 to March 15, 2015. You will have two weeks to believe who the winner is before they take over on April Fool's Day 2015.

EDIT: special note-Elections are public, not by PM. everyone can follow along as clan members vote throughout the 15 day election - the process will be very transparent for all.
