While also avoiding me at school to be with her friends and claims to not have enough time with them, (she has 45 mins of class time with them -_-)
Her mom said I was "smothering" her.
After being ignored for 6 months I gave up, she claims to still love me.
But their is one problem.
That same night March, 11th I broke up with her, a guy asked her out, and she said yes.

1. Her new 'boyfriend' could simply be a ploy to make you jealous.
2. 45 minutes only? That's not a lot, especially if in class. (How much did you spend with her compared to that 45 minutes?)
3. Was she actually avoiding you, or did it just seem like it?
4. If she asks for space, give it to her. If she says she still loves you, take it at face value. She's not going to lie about it, especially if she's "dating" someone else. I mean, if she was going to lie, she'd have said she didn't.

She may have said yes as the ploy -- he could actually like her, but that's not really your concern.
Hmm. Well, maybe if you do try to get back together, just have a chat with her about how you feel that she spends more time with them than you and that you'd like some more time together. If she asks for more space, then ask her if there's a reason? You gotta be open for it to work -- both of y'all.
