Yes, you did call us a bitch when you got angry at feeling like you were being teamed upon. I let it slide once, cos yeah, I would be angry too.
The third use of swearing on your part was too much and got you kicked.
To be honest the mute button is of no use to me because I have to monitor all chat, since there may be players who are quite young, new to the game, guests or a mixture of them all. They may/will not be aware of the mute function. Some players (often very young) could be offended or be affected by the horrible things us folk say.

anyway, what I said before still stands, ignore most of verbal assaults or swearing because we have mute button (I don't really care if someone doesn't know about it, I can't babysit 8 year old kids). Resort to mod tools when abuse/swearing/spam is really excesive

I am the first to admit that I am not the most unbiased when it comes to this issue, but I would like to point out that the argument regarding new players and such is a bit flimsy. Legally to play this game, 13 is the minimum age requirement. Most 13 year olds can make use of a simple mute button. I understand that you do not wish to lose your job (the mute button basically replaced the responsibilities of your position) but in this situation it would have been quite easy to mute him.

The conflict of interests present in your kicking are quite clear. I would propose that while a moderator is playing in a game, that he or she should not be allowed to kick any other player in that game. There is almost always more than a single moderator online at any given time, and that second moderator can easily review the situation and make an unbiased decision. However, in the heat of the game, the temptation to kick a player who you cannot beat seems to have become too great.

I have no proof on either side of the issue, and hesitate to make claims that I cannot back up. What I do know is, that this is not the first complaint I have seen of this. While playing 2 days ago, another player voiced the same issue in regards to Hatchu. I once again did not see the situation, but I do not wish to see this potential form of corruption become commonplace.

Lopdo: What exactly does the "You have been kicked from the game" message mean? Does it only occur when a moderator or admin iniates the kick? Or can it happen randomly, such as the sporadic "disconnecting" issues?

Of course not in your experience, you'd never need to cheat to beat someone.

Well this forum would be where that problem would be shown. Techgump, what would you consider viable data to make that claim? It is human nature to take advantage of power, and the moderation team is no exception to this. If moderators can kick players who are playing against them, issues such as this one will arise. I stated a simple solution to this, that I believe would solve this issue.

I was stating that multiple moderators are online at any given time, and can easily be called. (I believe that you all have a skype chat) This can provide a second, unbiased opinion in situation where personal matters are at stake.
