Minnesota. The worst is yet to come, if it's still snowing that means the cold can't be that bad. Most of the snow actually comes in a small period of time and just stays frozen for a few months while the windchills go down to -45 ºF or so.

just had a very strong snow storm in the Nordic countries. over 50 m/s winds in Denmark... people dead under fallen trees. electricity have been out in many places in Finland.
in Lapland -38.6 C degrees , which is a new record... im glad that i don't live up there.... down south where i live about 10 cm of snow and -5 to -10 degrees during the daytime... weather-broadcast shows that next night will be below -20 C pretty basic winter....
