Funnyman, I realize what you are trying to accomplish and I can understand why as I attempted the same thing.
Simply put, you cannot give your brutally honest opinion of people without hurting feelings and sparking arguments.
Furthermore, some people will retaliate which can entice further argument between those who back their companions.
I believe it is in everyone's best interest for you to stop this before it goes to far. Feelings may be hurt and friendships lost.
I understand it is not your goal to cause a "forum war", and I to wish to avoid such a misfortune.

I've learned to give my honest opinion of both sides of the argument without taking sides and then proceeding to shut up.
