Option to disable ingame chat

Hey there,

I find it quite annoying when the game just started and a lot people start of with ally request ingame. So I have thought of an option to get people not making overpowered allies or any allies at all ingame.

Maybe it would be an option to implement another switch for games that have no ingame chat available. That way people cannot chat with each other and cannot form any alliances at all.

Maybe there are other people out there that think the same way I do.

That's not true. They talk about playing each other again, other stuff. I think you should be able to disable it (like I've suggested before...) but that it should be default option to have it.

Yeah, I agree with Rat. I have had many games where all of the players enjoyed talking to each other and who stayed after getting eliminated just to talk. I've done this before too. It's nice to be able to make a comment to someone just to tell them that they had a good move or a great turn. (I've even done this when it's against me.)

Pretty much this. A game with no chat feels so impersonal. It's just like fighting an AI.

I remember back before EE had chat... those were the dark days... granted most people on EE still don't have chat...
