Vortex Wars

I logged into Vortex Wars tonight and found about 3 or 4 games called "Draw" or "Draw or Die" and the like. If you don't know what they're doing, before the first turn, someone offers draw. Everyone accepts, and they all get 40 XP. Now as you can imagine a lot of players are taking advantage of this. I think that to combat this, there should be a turn limit, maybe 3 or 4, and also possibly that at least 1 territory has to have been attacked by another player. They may still pop up, but at least some of them (Hopefully) will give up and stop doing it.

Hopefully you'll get some sort of fix for this, as if it's not done soon, there will be a lot of people at high levels, possibly even on the leaderboards by doing nothing but doing this.

There should be a report feature. That way you can report all those little boosters.

More effective method: Autoreport.

Implement simple system that flags when a game ends early with all-draw. After x occurences, ban, or suspend account from game. As people adapt to it and work around it, you can counter. But it at least stops the silliness from being fast. It shouldn't be too hard to implement, as long as you've got something to record the info to.

Yeah, this needs to be fixed ASAP. Probably including the banning of some of the more egregious offenders.

Fun fact... First time "offenders" can troll these games quite effectively by pocket vetoing. If someone else vetoes, all of the would-be draw-ers will all spite pick around him, giving you clear reign of the board. Once you're in the lead, they can't offer a draw anymore, I think. If you're upfront about it, they'll just kick if you rejoin. If everyone starts doing this to those games, it offers a temporary solution, in that if the draw fails, they might actually play

This is an unfortunate side effect of having a number next to your name that increases with games played, and items to gain advantages. People will try to game the system given an easy way to do it, and a good reward for doing it. The only real response is the mighty banhammer.

I will as soon as I can, but it will take some time. I would like to ask everyone here to join those games and decline draw and play normally they often turn out into interesting games

I agree! This is getting bad. There are many that are immediately offering draw and many others taking it right off. Today seems particularly bad.

ok, if you see game like this, tell creator that he will get banned if he doesn't stop, if he is rude or he kicks you out, report him to me and I will take care of it
