Trust rate.

OK, so, I believe it was risk on pogo.com that has a certain alliance feature. It actually has 2 that I want to bring up. First, there is an alliance button that you can use to send someone and alliance request. This would allow people to REMEMBER that they are in an alliance and other things (this is a shout-out to a certain person who "forgot" about our team >:I). The second feature as a trust rate that shows how often they break an alliance. This would be useful in showing who you can put your trust in. Of course, when someone attacks a teammate the alliance is broken, allowing them to attack back without diminishing their trust rate. There is also a button that allows you to break an alliance. I do not know if they have to accept the alliance break or not, though.

P.S. I was just in another game with that person and they forfeited the game to let me win :D

It wasn't you. It was someone I didn't bother to remember.

I break too many alliances so I'm not sure a trust meter would work well...
...should I have said that? buhhh... I need to lay off the alcohol...

That is one of the points of a trust rate--to see if you can trust the person you are teaming up with.

I don't plan to enforce use of aliances in any way, so I don't expect to implement this. It is part of game, not to trust anyone completely. Consider aliances very temporary thing that can give some breathing space for few turns, but be prepared for their sudden end. After all, we all want to win and we do everything to get there :)

Well said Lopdo. I agree with you completely. Too many people want to make alliances to get advantages or to try to get 2nd place. But who really cares about 2nd?

but wouldn't you rather take a chance to get first than to ensure 2nd place? It's a lot more fun when you play like that. Makes the game a lot more interesting.

It depends on how many people are left.
