Vortex Wars

1) A Private Message feature, good for forming alliances and movements that aren't broadcasted to everyone else.
2) A possible "vote to kick" feature, to get rid of those pesky trolls, oftentimes guests.
-"But Zydrate!" you say... "That could be abused! People could gang up on you for no reason!" A hazard, the pros outweigh the cons. If that happens, one can just move on.

3) What the hell are Vortex shards used for?

1.) No. No. Just. No.
2.) I would think that voting to kick someone from chat would be better, then they can't troll chat, and you can't gang up on techgump
3.) To buy stuff. You have to be above level 3.

1) Why not? It's a staple of multiplayer gaming to message others.
2) Fair point, a worthy alternative.

For number one, the problem is that alliances other people don't know about are completely unfair to them.

That's part of warfare.
And this is just a basic variant of "risk".

And that's what it's supposed to be.

Still think it could be beneficial.

For example, I want to whisper someone I allied with that I didn't bail on him. Just accidentally hit something on my keyboard.

But why can't you say that in normal chat...?

Both friends functionality and whisper chat are already planned for future updates. [/thread]
