Is it just me or does it seem that whoever goes first on a 2 player map almost ALWAYS wins?

I think maybe on 2 player maps a truce must be declared for the first few rounds to give the player who goes second a chance to actually win the game.

This does often seem true. It does also depend on starting spots and map size though.
